Mike Derrico

Mike Derrico is a writer, rock and pop culture historian, and producer, host and founder of the six-season Rock Under Fire podcast, which ran for 100 episodes from 2016-2023.  In 2020, he published his first book AUTUMN AND EVERYTHING AFTER: The Murder of John Lennon, Evolution of Bruce Springsteen & the Birth of the Reagan Era.  His second book, THE LOCKER NOTES, a novel, was published in 2021.  Mike is also a frequent panel member of the Seasons on Saturday podcast, a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons-based discussion group comprised of Seasons experts and former members of the Four Seasons.  His work has appeared in NJArts.net, derrico untitled and Retrospeak blogs, and Legs McNeil’s online publication, Please Kill Me.  In December 2023, Mike’s third book, …AND THE CATHEDRAL FELL TO THE GROUND: The Lonesome Death of Rock & Roll was published through IngramSpark.   Follow Mike on Bluesky, X (Twitter) and Substack for updates on all work, podcast interviews, articles and book news.
